Contact us for advice on the fit, style and comfort of your garments.

Fit
There are two issues; the clothes must be a good fit and must be fit for the intended purpose or occasion.

Silhouette
Think about your overall height, weight and shape. Are you short, average or tall with a heavy, medium or light build? Accentuate the positive, don’t dwell on the negative.

Short
To add height; make the legs look longer by shortening the jacket, introduce higher buttoning in front and make the sleeves as short as possible. Wear trousers high on the waist with tapered bottoms. Cloth should be plain or with a vertical stripe.

Average Height
The world is your oyster. However, ensure you select your garments using several appropriate measurements (for example, not only collar size when buying a shirt).

Tall
To reduce height; lengthen the bottom edge of the jacket and the jacket opening, widen the lapels and lengthen the sleeves. Trousers can be worn lower on the waist with a wider trouser leg, turn-ups and pleats at the front if appropriate.

Build
Drawing attention away from the midriff is the main objective. All garments must give the wearer ample room to manoeuvre. Jackets can be double or single breasted, but must be slightly longer cut along the bottom edge with the opening between the lapels kept high. Avoid vents at the back. On trousers, incorporate pleats set to face the back for comfort. Cloth should be plain.
